Abstract

Leadership style is a crucial determinant of employee performance, particularly in the dynamic environment of technology firms. This research investigates how transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles influence employee motivation, job satisfaction, and productivity. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, collecting data from employees and managers across leading tech companies. Findings indicate that transformational leadership fosters innovation and higher engagement, whereas transactional leadership enhances task efficiency. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive leadership models to accommodate rapid technological advancements and evolving workforce expectations. The implications suggest that leadership development programs must focus on flexibility and emotional intelligence.
