Understanding Agility at Work: A Mediated-Moderated Model of Job Performance through Mental Health and Burnout in Life Insurance Companies

Abstract
Purpose: This study examines how an agile work environment affects employees' job performance in the Life insurance companies . It also examines how work burnout and mental health are mediated and whether coping strategies and transformational leadership might mitigate these associations.
Research Technique:Data from 241 employees of Life Insurance companies in the Delhi (NCR) area was gathered for the study using a "descriptive survey design". Constructs are tested using a standardized questionnaire. The information was examined and evaluated using "Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling" (PLS-SEM 4.0).
Findings – According to the study, an agile work environment in insurance companies improves employee job performance; work burnout has an adverse effect on this relationship, whereas mental health mediates it favorably. Coping mechanisms lessen the detrimental effects of burnout on output and transformational leadership enhances the mental well-being in an agile workplace.
Practical implications- By promoting flexible workflows, autonomous decision-making, and cooperative teamwork, Agile Work Environments boost employee wellness and improve productivity at work, mental health, and decreased burnout. These advantages go beyond businesses; they also support a more resilient, productive society, increased worker sustainability, and decreased public health expenses.
