Abstract

In the context of gender equality, the study of the intricate relationship that exists between the law and social change is an extremely important field of research. the influence that legislative actions have had on the advancement of gender equality, as well as the investigation of the ways in which legal reforms have contributed to the modification of societal norms and the enhancement of the position of women in various locations. To begin, a review of historical and contemporary legislation that has been enacted with the intention of advancing gender equality is presented. This examination includes major laws and policies that have been enacted at both the national and international levels.
